According to “Healthline”, What you eat can determine how full you feel, as foods affect sensations of fullness differently. Eating foods that satisfy hunger can help control calorie consumption. For example, eating a meal that contains filling foods is likely to reduce portion size and snacking between meals.

This can aid weight management by cutting the overall calories a person consumes in a day. Below are some of the foods that could keep you feeling full for a long period.

1. Boiled potatoes.

Potatoes have been demonized in the past, but they’re very healthy and nutritious. Cooked unpeeled potatoes are a good source of many vitamins and minerals, including vitamin C and potassium.

They are high in water and carbs and contain moderate amounts of fiber and protein. They also contain almost no fat. Compared with other high-carb foods, potatoes are very filling.

2. Oatmeal.

According to “MedicalNewsToday”, Oatmeal is another food that’s been demonstrated to increase satiety and improve appetite control. This is due to the combination of protein and fiber found in the food. Oats can be eaten as oatmeal porridge, or they can be baked into bread, oatcakes, or even blended into smoothies for some extra fiber content.

3. Eggs.

Eggs are food that has nothing to do with fiber, but everything to do with protein. Since protein helps promote satiety, we also want to make sure that we are getting enough of it to help us feel full.

In one single egg, you’ll rack up about 6 grams of protein, making it a great protein-rich snack to help keep you full between meals.
