Ghanaian dancehall artiste Shatta Wale has once again criticised the Economic and Organised Crimes Office (EOCO) over the incident involving the seizure of his Lamborghini Urus.
Speaking during a performance at the Gomoa Easter Carnival on April 5, 2025, the artiste claimed EOCO was “lucky” he was not arrested, as the situation could have escalated. He explained that he tries to avoid conflict but would respond if provoked.
According to him, officials arrived at his residence claiming they were searching for a missing vehicle, but the issue later turned into allegations of fraud.

The controversy dates back to October 2025, when Shatta Wale accused EOCO officials of storming his home with weapons and alleged that the agency’s boss, Raymond Archer, had abused his authority.
EOCO, however, maintained that its officers were only acting within their mandate to retrieve the vehicle, which was reportedly linked to a robbery case in the United States.
Following the incident, Shatta Wale was invited to EOCO headquarters in Accra, where he was detained for several days. His detention sparked outrage among fans, some of whom gathered outside the premises in protest before his eventual release.
Since then, the artiste has continued to publicly criticise the agency over the matter.
