Labour Party chairperson in Lagos State, Dayo Ekong, has got the internet buzzing with several reactions from people, after she disagreed with the announced result of the presidential election that was conducted in the Mainland area of Lagos State.
Recall that Lagos State collation center had few hours ago, announced the total number of votes that were accumulated by the ruling APC party, PDP, Labour Party and NNPP in Lagos Mainland.
However, according to the announcer of such result, the ruling APC party accumulated a total of 20,030 while the Labour Party accumulated a total of 18,698 votes. PDP and NNPP on the other hand, accumulated a total of 3,005 and 257 votes respectively.

And so, Dayo Ekong in reaction to such announcement, revealed that a Labour Party agent sent her the total number of votes that was accumulated by the opposition party in Mainland area of Lagos State. According to the Labour Party chairperson, Labour Party had a total of 29,222 votes, adding that 9 polling units were affected and some ballot boxes were not counted in the area.
The Lagos State collation officer went ahead to ask for a verification and reconciliation of such result.
