The come and see my mother, and natural girl hitmaker, MzVee, after her sudden disappearance from the music scene and departure from Lynx entertainment has resurfaced with her new banger titled “Sheriff”.
Though MzVee has been on tour to promote her song and her come back, it seems her come back has been marked with her depression instead of her song, Sheriff. MzVee on her reappearance into the industry revealed that her one-year hiatus was a result of a severe depression she was going through at the time. According to her, her depression marked with anger, isolation, and lack of interest was what informed her decision to leave her record label, Lynx entertainment. She has also been clearing other rumors surrounding her departure from lynx, emphasizing that her relationship with her label mates Kidi and Kuame Eugene was a good one and that everything was done amicably.
Unfortunately, it seems most blogs and presenters seem to be more interested in and promoting her depression than her song. During the “new song” segment on Zylofon FM, some of the pundits encouraged that “MzVee should focus on promoting Sheriff than her depression “ because they believe it hasn’t garnered the needed attention like her depression.

Others also applauded her for opening up about her mental health problems and encouraged the media to push her new single with the same effort and attention given to her depression.
