“I received death threats after my first introduction to the public” – Wendy Shay

Rufftown records signee, Wendy shay marks her second year in the Ghanaian music industry. As part of her celebration, she is embarking on a media tour to thank Ghanaians and industry stakeholders for their support.

Wendy shay made her first appearance at the 2018 Ghana music awards where she was introduced to the public by the CEO of Rufftown records Bullet.

Wendy Shay in her quest to celebrate her anniversary has released a new song with Ghanaian trap artiste Bosum Pyung dubbed Emergency.

Speaking In an interview with Sammy Flex on showbiz daily. Wendy Shay recounted her first appearance at the VGMA 2018 and what happened thereafter.

“It wasn’t easy for me, I received death threats after Bullet introduced me. Some people said i was coming to take Ebony’s Shine and hard earn reputation”

Wendy Shay disclosed why she recorded and featured Bosom Pyung on Emergency. “Emergency is very emotional and looking at Bosom Pyung especially his Ataa adwoa song he was he best fit for the song. He nailed his verse as well”
