Responsibilities:
- Taking design briefs to understand requirements
- Establishing creative direction for Boomplay within it’s visual identity and guidelines
- Prioritizing and managing multiple projects within given design specifications
- Creating and designing various materials for use in-app, outdoor and digital media.
- Presenting ideas, concepts and design solutions to various stakeholders and incorporating their feedback into the final design.
- Ensure projects are completed with high quality and on schedule
- Collaborate with fellow designers and team members from other departments on Boomplay projects
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field
- 1+ year experience in graphic design.
- Compelling portfolio of work over a wide range of creative projects
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Understanding of design fundamentals, composition, social media and the web
- Knowledge of Adobe PhotoShop and Adobe Illustrator, (Adobe premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects and Figma is a plus)
- Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of video production, motion graphics and photography is a plus.
- Knowledge and love for music is a plus
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent eye for detail and keen eye for aesthetics
- Must be within Accra.
