The Sankofa hitmaker, King Jerry in his studio appearance on Showbiz Daily has once again thrilled his viewers and fans with his energetic performance, passionate singing, and his ambitious nature leaving an indelible mark in the hearts of his viewers.
Speaking to Sammyflex, King Jerry has stated emphatically that in spite of the national campaign by the renowned Ghanaian Rapper, Sarkodie, to bring back Azonto, his effort his going to be futile because to him, there’s no way Azonto can come back again and has advised Sarkodie to stop wasting his time with that to support him as he introduces body beating dance to the rest of Ghanaians and possibly the world.

He elaborated that, like “Gborhe, Alkayida, Azonto is just a dance movement, not a music genre which is why it is impossible to bring back the dance move, he believes dancers do not go back dancing old dances, its either modified or new once are introduced. He also thinks once they call for the revival of Azonto, the same should be done for Gborhe and other old dances.
He further used the opportunity to address the head of the 3Music Award Scheme, Sadiq, who was present in the studio about the supposed exemption of his kind who do Ga Adamgbe music along the shores from award schemes. He believes once they need high tempo music for exercises or dances they go for their music but once it’s time to recognize musicians they are left out without so much as recognition.
King Jerry is hopeful about his music and body beating dance going international and becoming the next hit artist in Ghana with his continuous delivery of good music.
