“What the president said doesn’t pain me one bit”- Pappy Kojo

The president of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo gave his ninth update on the novel coronavirus pandemic in Ghana.

The president noted that as he mentioned in his address during the May day celebrations, the closure of the borders still holds for one more month.

Musician Pappy Kojo upon hearing that portion in the address of the president took to Twitter and wrote, “What the president said doesn’t pain me one bit”

Pappy Kojo’s tweet came lots of reactions with some of his followers asking if it doesn’t pain him then why tweet it at all. Some also said he is more concerned about what the president said.

Remember that Pappy Kojo plys his trade in Ghana and Italy respectively. Unfortunately for him when Ghana recorded its first case he was in Italy thus the closure of the borders affected him.

After a few weeks, Pappy Kojo called on the government of Ghana to use a private jet to bring him to Ghana. Pappy Kojo finally got the attention of the Minister of Tourism, Culture Creative arts, Barbara Oteng Gyasi.

The reacted by saying it will be unwise on the part of the government to use a private jet to pick up only Pappy Kojo from Italy while there are other Ghanaians stuck in Italy.

Her statement didn’t sit well with Pappy Kojo and he reacted by saying he has done a lot for the music industry by putting Ghana on the map and at least the government should do something about it.
