Timaya also known as the Egberi papa 1 (the town crier of the people) of Bayelsa is one of the biggest acts to ever come from Africa and has achieved a lot in his award laiden career spanning over 15 years.
Inetimi Alfred Odon who’s popularly known by his stage name Timaya is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, performing artiste, and record producer born on the 15th of August, 1977 in Port Harcourt. He hails from Odi, Bayelsa State in the south southern part of Nigeria.
Timaya is the owner and founder of DM Record limited. He was 14 years old when he released his first-ever song which he titled “street hustle”. His first major breakthrough was in 2005 after he released his song “Dem mama”, which is a song in his debut album, True story, and ever since then, he has released several hit songs and solo albums.
