‘Kumerica’ is the new word trending on social media and people can’t stop talking about it.
The word ‘Kumerica’ has been added to the lexicon of Ghanaian social media as a result of some young boys in Kumasi making a series of videos and mimicking the lifestyle of celebrities in America.

It all started as a joke but it’s out of hand now. People started trolling them by their wrong pronunciation of words.
Moreover, It is because of these hilarious videos that, the word ‘Kumerica’ came to stay.
However, it has grown from a mere word to a movement where all Kumasi base people have all joined. Indeed, the movement is now becoming bigger by the day and one even requires a passport before you can travel to Kumerica.
Dancehall king, Shatta Wale, has dump to the trending ‘Kumerica’ and has dropped a song titled ‘Kumerica’
