It’s impossible to have an awards system like the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) and not have some unique and whacky moments.
From the Red Carpet to the performances, to the award presenters to the award winners, some performed as if they were a ‘fool’ on stage.
A Ghanaian woman shamelessly displayed all of her filthy anus on the red carpet at the just ended VGMAs which was one of the ‘daft’ incidents.
On a more serious note, KiDi of Lynx Entertainment fame grabbed the 2022 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards Artiste of the Year.
The musician, who failed to claim the ultimate spot in 2021 after his famous ‘I’ll be back’ phrase, returned to win his first-ever Artiste of the Year Award.
He beat stiff competition from Black Sherif, King Promise, Kuami Eugene, Sarkodie and Joe Mettle to emerge the winner.
