Date Rush is an innovative program that seeks to bring youth (singles) together by providing them the platform to search for love in a very easy way.
The season 1 and 2 of Date Rush wasn’t so interesting but season 3 brought a lot of surprises where it has been taken to social media.

The popularity of this program came after a male contestant, Ignatius rejected all the ladies, causing a lot of confusion in the system. Some say it is scripted, some say it just to play with your feelings.
Well, the mastermind behind the show, the producer of Date Rush, Madam Ayekie Nanor revealed the true nature of the show.

Madam Ayekie Nanor said “the show was to bring people (who completed high schools, universities, polytechnics) who are searching for love. But the fact is that these people are being auditioned, people sent back. This makes them very confident on stage”.
Talking about what they say on stage, Madam Ayekie hinted that everything the contestants say comes from their own mind and that it is not scripted.
