People who are suffering from dental problems are sometimes required to remove the affected tooth to protect the others. It is important to know that human teeth do not regrow in adulthood, hence pulling your tooth is permanent; however, it can be replaced with artificial teeth. According to WebMD, this article will show you two health problems that may warrant you to pull your tooth.

1. Infection.

Certain mouth infections can lead to tooth decay. This problem occurs as a result of bacterial activity in the pulp, when this happens, a person might develop an infection in a single or more tooth. Studies show that tooth infection can be treated with antibiotics or root canal therapy (RCT). However, in severe cases, a patient may be required to extract the affected tooth.
