The artistic Ghanaian female musician, Sista Afia, is expected to hit her peak this year, 2020. In previous times, the young artist made the headlines and trends with controversial topics and news. These news items, unfortunately, overshadowed her mellifluous voice and her musical ingenuity.

Other gimmicks like overly exposing her body also took the attention from her music. In a recent interview with her, Sista Afia mentioned that she has reduced all those things since she is growing and does not need to do that for attention anymore.
She then added that after she reduced all that, Ghanaians are now paying attention and noticing her musical prowess. The weather hitmaker is one of the few Ghanaian female artists who has had several collaborations with some of the stalwarts in the Ghanaian music industry like Shatta, Stonebwoy, Sarkodie, Medikal, Quamina MP, Kelvyn boy and her most recent “paper” banger with Nigeria’s Victor AD.
These collaborations according to her have also boosted her Queen Solomon Album streams online and have piqued the interest of Ghanaians about her talent.

Considering the pace, the path and niche Sista Afia has curved for herself with her recent awards and nominations, it could be speculated that Ghanaians are yet to see the best of Sista Afia in the year 2020. Like other women in the male-dominated industry, Sista Afia is making strides and should be supported fully as she drops hits upon hits.
