During the “Face Off” segment on Zylofon, by unanimous decision, Fantana has been crowned the winner and Queen of the Divas’ version of JMJ’s “Riddim of the Gods”.

The project had various Ghanaian artists making their versions with a beat produced by the amazing sound engineer, JMJ. Artist like Okyeame Kwame, Sarkodie, Obibini, Edem, to mention a few had their version paired up to be judged by listeners and pundits of Zylofon’s Showbiz Agenda. However, the female version dubbed “The Divas Edition” wasn’t as encouraging as the men since most of the popular artists struggled with the beat or to leave a mark like they are known for.

After a critical analysis of Adina, Feli Nuna, Eno, Sista Afia, Raquel, Eshun, Fantana, among others’ versions, the Rufftown signee, Fantana, was by common decision declared the winner with her “Rich Girl Anthem”. Though hard to believe, Fantana with his little experience in the industry did extremely well on the beat as compared to the others. Her storyline, like her voice and attitude, was on point.

Though people agree with the decision, some are still astounded by the level of creativity Fantana exhibited on this song considering all of her performances hitherto this battle. Fantana has proven herself an asset and a force to be reckoned with or a talent to be looked out for in the Ghanaian music industry.
