There is an Exciting Job Vacancy At MTN GlobalConnect. They are hiring a Manager: IT Applications (Opco based).
Responsibilities:
The Role will be accountable to achieve the following objectives:
- Managing the applications team responsible for the key business applications, including Salesforce CRM and CPQ, Wholesale and Interconnect Billing, Business Intelligence, Revenue assurance, and Fraud and API Management platforms.
- Developing the MTN GC IT staff to meet the changing needs of the business and users, new projects, and technologies
- Collaborating with business teams to continuously evolve MTN GC systems, focusing on supporting increased sales, customer experience, and profitability.
- Facilitating IT governance process in coordination with Senior Management, participate in planning for future business needs.
- Defining application planning and forecast tools, processes, and standards, and roadmaps.
- Reviewing the designs and functional requirements of IT applications within scope to ensure that all requirements are satisfied.
- Act strategically to consolidate and leverage existing applications to streamline business processes and reduce overhead.
- Communicating effectively with Senior Management and all users of Information Services and systems.
- Developing and maintain systems and staff performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
- Working with business and technology leaders as appropriate to ensure proper alignment of business systems solutions with business goals and processes.
- Establishing standards, methodologies, and documentation for business systems configuration and application integration.
- Managing planning and implementation of enterprise services design, including configuration, integration, and maintenance of systems within scope and other platform solutions.
- Managing systems and software integration projects.
Job Requirements:
Qualification:
- Minimum 4-year Academic Degree (B Eng. / BSc Degree preferred), Master’s degree (advantageous)
- Relevant certification/accreditation/membership with professional body as required for role
- Fluent in English and language of country preferable
Experience:
- 5+ Years of progressive experience managing the implementation, integration, and operations of enterprise-level applications in a variety of technology footprints.
- Must have hands on experience in BSS and OSS Platforms – Salesforce(CRM, CPQ), Oracle ERP, Contract Management, Oracle ERP, Enterprise Integration Platforms, API Management Platforms, Service Activation and Provisioning Systems, Mediation and Billing, Service Assurance platforms
- Experience in revenue assurance and fraud management technologies and processes
- Must have experience in eTOM, SID and NGOSS Framework.
- Worked across diverse cultures and geographies (advantageous)
- Experience working in a medium to large organization
