It’s no longer news that Nigerian singer, D’banj was allegedly arrested for alleged fraud and he has been with the ICPC and this has got a lot of people talking about how this happened and it’s obvious that D’banj is a public figure that a lot of people won’t expect something of such to happen to.
There has been report few minutes ago that D’banj has been released but he has just confirmed it as he took to his social media account on Instagram to write new message about the incident. He writes saying he was invited for an ongoing investigation in ICPC and he has assisted the commission with everything he knows and nothing was found on him. He added that he has never been involved in fraudulent activity because all he does enjoy his life and he was released based on self recognition.

In addition to this, release on self recognition simply means that a document has been signed that he will be present if there is a need for another court appearance and he shouldn’t be involved in any illegal act at the moment.
