Ghanaian singer Cina Soul has voiced her disappointment with the Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA) board for overlooking her work in this year’s nominations.

In a post shared on X and sighted by GhanaWeb on April 7, 2026, she echoed sentiments earlier expressed by Black Sherif, who questioned why her project was excluded from the “Album of the Year” category.

Cina Soul stated that she dedicated immense effort to her album, Did I Lie?, and strongly believes it merited recognition.

“I genuinely believe I should’ve been there. I put so much work into ‘DID I LIE?’,” she said.
She also appreciated Black Sherif for speaking up, noting that his comments reassured her that her concerns were valid.

“It gives me solace knowing I’m not biased towards my own work. Thank you, @blacksherif_,” she added.

Meanwhile, other Ghanaian artistes, including AratheJay, have also expressed dissatisfaction with the TGMA board after his album, The Odyssey, was left out of key nominations.
