There is a permanent job offer At Taptap Send If you get this opportunity, you will be the senior leader and representative for Taptap Send’s Africa business, including full P&L ownership. You will be willing to travel regularly and solve issues face to face.
Responsibilities:
- Own the P&L for Taptap Send’s Africa remittance business
- Launch new countries for Taptap Send’s remittance network and build positive relationships with the best partners in target countries
- Be the face of Taptap Send to new and existing financial institutions and regulatory partners, overseeing the process from first scoping meetings to launch
- Work cross-functionally to ensure Taptap Send has the best product offering in-market
- Negotiate the best possible terms with our partners in each country
- Continue to spot new opportunities to improve our product offering in existing markets
- Be aware of market disruptions that can present opportunities for innovative products
- Understand local FX dynamics and be able to create a network for sourcing FX
- Hold payout partners accountable for their performance, and drive continuous improvement
- Lead and build a high-performing senior team, and work cross-functionally within the company to achieve your goals
- Extensively travel to markets to gain a deeper understanding
- Stay close to our customers as we develop new products and channels
- Report upwards to senior management and board level, with ability to articulate and control key levers of the business.
Requirements:

- Are familiar with a number of countries in the region
- Have at least 10+ years of experience in managing teams and key relationships
- Have extensive contacts and networks to draw on.
