Nigerian singer, Victor Adere aka Victor AD has reacted to rumors of him accusing Davido of stealing his hit song ‘Jowo’ from him.
Earlier today, a Nigerian man identified as Thuglife on Twitter made the claims on the social media platform where he revealed that Victor AD confirmed the song theft.
The fan who seems to be sure of himself noted that Victor AD confronted Davido after he had stolen the hit song but he blocked him from all his social media pages and threatened to destroy him if he mentions it publicly.
He tweeted:
Victor AD just confirmed davido stole his record “Jowo”. according to AD; OBO heard d song after they recorded “Tire You”. He was surprised to see d song on ABT without him/his mgt consent; He said davido blocked him on Socials & threatened to ruin him. This wickedness
Victor AD has finally reacted to all the rumors and allegations against Davido saying he has no idea how such rumors began as he never accused Davido of stealing anything from him anywhere hence asking we should disregard such rumors.
Davido’s lawyer Prince also came through with his own explanation saying Davido never took anyone’s song and fans know that he would have credited the person if indeed he took someone’s song but that isn’t the case.
