2. Silent stroke
Someone who has a silent stroke may have memory issues because stroke blocks major brain blood vessels. When a silent stroke occurs, it doesn’t allow blood to flow properly to the brain.
The type of medication you take may cause you to forget things easily. Some of the drugs that can affect your memory are sleeping pills, painkillers, antidepressant drugs, and diabetes medication. It is important to visit a doctor if you start experiencing memory loss as a result of the medication you are taking.
4. Lack of vitamin B12
When you don’t get enough nutrients like vitamin B12 which is important for normal nerve function, it may lead to confusion and memory loss. You can get vitamin B12 from certain foods like fish and meat.
