Mzvee’s “who are you” song since its release in February 2020 was surrounded by lots of controversies. Notable amongst them were the beat theft and content being adult content.
Mzvee in an interview with Mzgee on Tv3 new Day took the opportunity to clear the air on the content of the song.

Mzvee said, “Who are you is a witty song, it’s a fun song. I am viewed as more of a serious person. So sometimes I like to put some fun in what I do. It’s talking about an old man who is stalking a small girl and the girl is saying no way”
Mzvee also touched on the beat theft and had this to say;

“It was a bit of confusion but I think we have cleared it now. I have receipts of the Beatz but they haven’t. I’m just going with what I got”
MzGee further asked her if the Beatz theft saga has taught her a lesson. She responded by saying, ” Definitely moving on I’m going to be vigilant with any Beatz a producer sends to me”
