One of Ghana’s renowned songstress, Becca, has had to deal with difficult Ghanaians after her latest single “no one” hit the trends. While they enjoyed the song, they couldn’t shake its similarity to the world hit song John Cena by Sho Madjozi.
However, speaking the Becca on that topic, she revealed that while Ghanaians were busily chastising her and ridiculing her song, it was trending number 2 in South Africa after John Cena. She took the opportunity to educate Ghanaians on the genre of sound used for her “no one” song which borrows a striking resemblance to John Cena.

According to her, the sound is a popular genre in South Africa called the Gqom with the two aforementioned songs a typical example of the sound. She also revealed that like the two songs, there are so many songs in SA that has the same sound but with different messages and components. She took the opportunity to encourage Ghanaians to always try and research more or ask questions before they jump into conclusions and exhibiting their ignorance.
