Ghanaian rapper Guru has claimed that until he wins artiste of the year award VGMA will never be credible.
The NKZ rapper made this claim through his twitter handle. This follows the numerous nominations the rapper has amassed over the past years yet failing to bag home the biggest prize being the ‘Artiste of the year award’.

What might have shocked him is the fact that, his hit song titled ‘Lapaz Toyota’ couldn’t win any award during his prime.
However, missing out on so many awards, Guru has always questioned the credibility of the awards scheme and the criteria they use in awarding artistes.

He has however excluded himself from the awards circled with so many controversies with the organizers of the award.
He comes again at this year’s VGMA with a tweet as stated:
“Ghana music award Go be credible the day a go win artist of the year”
