“Necessity is the mother of invention” The king of Dancehall in Ghana, Shatta Wale, has taken his creativity to another level as he plans an online concert for his fans dubbed SMFaithConcert.

This initiative was born out of the nationwide ban on large gatherings, the observation of social distancing and self-quarantine because of COVID-19. While most artists dread the postponement and cancellation of shows because of the outbreak of the pandemic, Shatta Wale has found a way to still entertain his people by hosting a show on YouTube for his fans who would view online without their physical presence at the venue.

While he entertains, this would also be an avenue for the artist to make some money online since he will be having the show on a paid or monetized platform. This seems to be a step up and a great idea since most people depend on social media in times like this for excitement.

The concert is aimed at reviving the faith of Ghanaians and his fans all around the world that though in hard times, all will pass and humanity will stand tall or triumph.
