The latest edition of SammyflexTV showbiz Daily which hosted a pantheon of entertainment industry players was set on fire during their music video review segment.
During the segment, Shatta Wale’s newest song Sleepless Night was being premiered and reviewed by the pundits. While some of them saw the video as below standard, others could relate to the simplicity and abstract concept of the video.

Shatta Wale who was carefully monitoring the conversation was called in to explain his artistic direction since he was the one who directed the video. Explaining his point of view, Shatta Wale used the opportunity to lambast some of the pundits who were not in line with his vision for the video. According to him apart from Kobby Kyei who seem to share his artistic direction, the rest which included George Britton and Steve Mensah were “Sobolo Niggas” who have no idea what reggae music or video entails which is why he deemed them unfit to talk or judge his reggae tune or video.
He believed some of the remarks given by the pundits on the video do not show seriousness which is why some leaders do not take the Ghanaian creative and music industry seriously. He stated that what he shot was of the international standard since it was an abstract depiction and had features of a typical Jamaican reggae video.
