Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), is leading in the presidential election in Benue State.
The Independent National Electoral Commission in Benue State has announced the presidential election from fourteen local government areas of the state
Obi has won nine Local Government Areas (LGA) so far while Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has won five.
The results of the nine remaining LAs are expected to be announced later.
Below is the total number of votes won so far by the prominent candidates in the state.
APC – 169,951
LP – 190,347
NNPP – 1,488
PDP – 59,615
