The Ghanaian entertainment industry has been set in a swirl after the legendary Gyedu Blay Ambolley fingered another legend and the previous president for MUSIGA for an alleged corrupt activities during his tenure as the president of the MUSIGA and incorporated some few others like Okyeame Kwame in the process.
The viral video of Ambolley accusing Obour of giving Okyeame Kwame GHS 50000 as a loan from the GHS 2million given to the MUSIGA as a fund to run the institution. However the “made in Ghana” creator, Okyeame Kwame, through his legal team has called out to Ambolley to either retract what they term as a defamatory statement within 72hours of the publication by 3FM or face being sued for it. Ambolley, on the other hand, seems unperturbed about the force and pressure being mounted on him by Okyeame Kwame and kingpins in the entertainment industry.
Most observers of this issue opine that Ambolley should let go off the idea that “the older is always right” and go apologize to the artist and retract what he said or he should have presented evidence to back his claims instead of tarnishing the hard work and image built by the artists involved.
Others also believe that considering Obour’s intentions to run for a parliamentary seat, he could be influencing Okyeame Kwame’s move to help vindicate him from some allegations and accusations leveled on him and his outfit during his time of office. However, some believe that even if Okyeame Kwame is cleared it doesn’t automatically clear Obour since the fact that he didn’t give Okyeame Kwame doesn’t mean that he didn’t do for the other names mentioned.

Furthermore, some believe that the issue has the tendency of exacerbating if the others mentioned in this cabal also decide to take legal measures to clear their names. On the other hand, with Okyeame Kwame’s public legal move, if the others mentioned do not also make a move to clear their names, it may also come off as corroborating allegations leveled at them.
Others are also enjoying this whole back and forth expecting Ambolley to be taken on so he brings out any and all evidence he has in order to open up an investigation into the MUSIGA.
