Social media opinions were divided today when two rappers: Obibini and Ayigbe Edem were put together for judgment on Zylofon FM’s Showbiz Agenda.
This was after the two rap artists submitted their versions of “riddim of the gods” produced by an artistic Ghanaian music producer and sound engineer JMJ.

After both raps were played and analyzed Obibini emerged victorious from both social media opinions and analysis and votes from the pundits on the show.
Some opined that, though Edem is undisputable a fabulous rapper, his bars on the tune were not as strong as that of Obibini. Others were also of the view that they could not understand what he was saying since the majority was in his native Ewe language. While some were against him singing on a rap project.
Obibini, on the other hand, proved himself a force to be reckoned and feared in the Ghanaian music industry. Some believed that he ‘killed’ the beat with his lyrical ingenuity and astoundingly clever rap.

Obibini, unlike other rappers in Ghana, has been overlooked and underrated by the majority of Ghanaians in spite of his stupendous talent and ability to make beautiful music. This battle has clearly drawn the line and placed Obibini on the pedestal he deserves and has left an indelible mark on the hearts and minds of music and especially rap lovers.
Obibini in recent years has produced hit songs like Ahye me, Balenciagas, Lemme know, Baby and his Diagrams album.
