There has been a bloody clash between the Parliamentary Candidate for the NPP in the Fomena Constituency and Hon. Andrew Asiamah Amoakoh, who is running as an Independent candidate in the Fomena Constituency.

In the midst of the clash, the Communication Director for the Independent Cnadidatem Seth Oduro was physically assaulted by some thugs of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
He was at Dompoase, a community in the Constituency as part of the preparation for the impending election on December 7 when he was pounced on and subjected to severe beatings by some persons believed to be members of the NPP leaving him with a swollen face.

However, Lawyer Andrew Asiamah Amoakoh decided to run as Independent Candidate after he was being sacked from the New Patriotic Party and his seat at the Parliament House was declared Parliament Vacant.
He has however vowed to retain his seat at the Parliament House for the New Patriotic Party.
