Fresh allegations have emerged against imprisoned rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs, with a man accusing him of drugging and sexually assaulting him in a New York nightclub in 2012.
According to a recent court filing, the plaintiff, referred to as John Doe, claims that at 17, he paid a bouncer to enter the SoHo club and was invited to Combs’ private table, where he was offered multiple shots of vodka. After consuming the drinks, he alleges feeling disoriented and losing consciousness.
The lawsuit further asserts that Doe was led to a back room where individuals were using drugs and engaging with escorts. He contends that the drinks were spiked, impairing his faculties, and that he was sexually assaulted by Combs while in a semi-conscious state.
Combs has consistently denied all allegations of sexual misconduct. In response to previous federal criminal charges, his legal team stated: “In court, the truth will prevail: that Mr. Combs never sexually assaulted or trafficked anyone—man or woman, adult or minor.”

As of February 2025, Combs is detained in a New York jail, awaiting a federal criminal trial on sex trafficking and racketeering charges. His trial is scheduled for May 2025. Despite pleading not guilty, he has been denied bail three times.
In a related development, fellow rapper Kanye West has publicly called on President Donald Trump to pardon Combs. On February 6, 2025, West took to social media platform X, posting: “FREE PUFF,” and followed up with “@realDonaldTrump PLEASE FREE MY BROTHER PUFF.”
These new allegations add to the extensive list of legal challenges facing Combs. Since November 2023, he has been named in over 30 civil lawsuits alleging sexual assault and misconduct. Notably, a recent lawsuit accusing Combs and fellow rapper Jay-Z of sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl in 2000 was dismissed on February 14, 2025, after inconsistencies were found in the allegations.
The legal proceedings against Combs continue to unfold, with his criminal trial set for later this year.
