Ghana has been hit with sad news following reports that Michael Kwesi Ofori, the son of celebrated businessman Dr. Ernest Ofori Sarpong, has passed away.
The heartbreaking announcement was made by Ghpage News via Facebook on August 12, 2025. As of now, the exact cause of death has not been revealed.
Michael Ofori, affectionately known in social circles as “The General”, was the Chief Executive Officer of Investors Hub, a respected consulting firm offering top-tier advisory services.
He became widely known in September 2023 after tying the knot with Rita Ofori Acheampong, a relative of former Health Minister Dr. Richard Anane. Their grand wedding ceremony was one of the most talked-about events in Ghana, graced by high-profile figures including Dr. Osei Kwame Despite, top politicians, and business leaders.
At the time of writing, the bereaved family is yet to issue an official statement regarding his passing. Tributes and condolences have since been pouring in from friends, industry colleagues, and well-wishers across the country.
