President Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo was under immense pressure from Ghanaians to intervene in the ongoing brouhaha in Nigeria using his power as the Chairman of ECOWAS.

Finally, the President gave in and released a statement on the Nigerian crisis.

However, President Akufo-Addo’s statement on the #EndSARS protests has been met with insults and disappointment from some Nigerians on social media

However, many Ghanaians are unhappy with the response of some Nigerians towards the Ghanaian president.

Ghanaians have condemned the behaviour of Nigerians on social media with some threatening to boycott the #EndSARS campaign.
