Former Ghana Black stars midfielder Michael Essien has thrown support and love for the LGBTQ Community in Ghana and backed its legalization has received the biggest bashed in his life after many Ghanaians descended on him.

On his Instagram page He wrote;
“We see you, we hear you, we support you. Our LGBTQIA plus Community in Ghana #ghanasupportequality 🇬🇭🤝🏿“.
However, his post didn’t go down well with Ghanaians as has been heavily lambasted for supporting an act that is highly disregarded and against the laws and culture of Ghana.
