It seems the agenda to push highlife music to the world has finally penetrated the minds and hearts of Ghanaian musicians and especially dancehall artists in Ghana. Not long ago two giants in the dancehall fraternity dropped banging highlife tune to commemorate the season of love.
Epixode, another giant in the Ghanaian music and precisely dancehall genre has also dropped a slow love song dubbed Menewoa which features the King of GH rap, Sarkodie.

Though known for hardcore dancehall songs, Epixode’s Menewoa fits perfectly into a love song that is appropriate for the season of love. Epixode in an interview explained how he got Sarkodie to add his verse so quickly after he sent him the song.
Most Ghanaians and especially highlife fanatics are thrilled by this new lane most of the recognized artists in Ghana are now championing to the rest of the world.
