Speaking on TV3 Newday, the legendary Ghanaian female musician, Efya took the change to clear some rumors about her on gossip blogs and on social media about her private life and professional one.
When asked by the host if she could corroborate rumors of her being a mother to a young girl, the artists vehemently denied such rumors stating that if she had a baby, she would tell people or “people would know.”

She also touched on gossips stating that the artist insinuated that Fella Makafui’s music was a joke. Debunking that, it was twisted by the writer probably for traffic and that what she said was she would be willing to work with Fella Makafui that’s’ if she is not joking with the music thing she’s started.
She also touched on other issues about her career and how music saved her life over the years. Like many musicians in the Ghanaian music industry, Efya has been a force to reckon with and has paid her dues in the industry having stayed relevant for about a decade still making new songs and winning more awards. Kudos to her.
