The Executive Director of Africa Education Watch (EduWatch), Mr Kofi Asare after his outfit received many unsolicited applications for free tertiary scholarship has disclosed a short way to enter any tertiary institution at no cost.
The Education Think Tank this academic year will not be able to sponsor the tertiary education of brilliant but needy Senior High School (SHS) graduates amid lack of budget.
In a post sighted on his official social media page, Mr. Kofi Asare wrote;
“We have received many unsolicited applications for tertiary sponsorship. While we appreciate that many are genuinely needy, we do not have a budget for new scholarships this year,” the EduWatch Executive Director said on Monday 3rd January 2022.
He offered the below free tips for students seeking tertiary scholarships.

For the avoidance of doubt, the MoE is located behind the Accra Sports Stadium. From your village/town, when you arrive at Circle or Accra Station, ask anyone to direct you to Accra Sports Stadium. The MoE is right there. The MoE is a public office so feel free and follow up, if they do not respond.
2. Parliament House is a stone throw away from the MoE. Over there, you will see your MP in a $100k V8 vehicle courtesy your taxes. Ask him for scholarship.
3. Visit the scholarship secretariat website or call 0302-962928. Due to the high demand, its not too different from lotto. Infact, it is much easier to secure a US Visa than.
4. Another reliable route is to join the NPP-Free SHS Graduates Association in your region immediately you complete your WASSCE. The Head of the Scholarship Secretariat is a patron of that group, so you can imagine your chances.
5. Talk to your DCE; he is your local NADAA. There is cash!
Apart from voting, citizens must engage their leaders on their problems. Don’t play dull; its your taxes. Stop complaining and look sharp.”.
