Ghana heads to the polls on December 7, 2020 and as the day draws nearer, the political climate is being characterized by pockets of terror and fear. A number of parliamentary candidates have already lost their lives through mysterious ways.
In a recent development, parliamentary candidate for Tema Central Constituency , Ebi Bright, has been the latest to be hit by tragedy. Reports indicate that the she has lost two of her cars to a fire incident that happened in her house at Tema.
According to reports reaching our outfit, the cars which got burnt are, a Mercedes Benz GL 450 and a Hyundai i30.
David Dartey, who is the aide and media coordinator to Ebi Bright has officially responded to the incident. He disclosed that the fire started around 3:00 am.
According to him, he heard an explosion while in the house and came out to see what had happened.
“When I heard the explosion I came out. I could see flames and I thought it was from the porch but when opened the door leading to the porch, the density of the fumes forced me to close it. I realized the car was burning so I had to rush to her room and alert her of the incident,” He said.
A photo of the cars accompanying the report shows they have been burnt beyond recognition.
