Ghana Vodafone Music Award (VGMA) which was postponed earlier this year due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 Pandemic comes off Friday, August 28 to Sunday, August 30, 2020.
Charter House, who is in charge of the whole organisation announce the programme in a press release but cautioned the public it will take a different form from the usual way as we have known.

According to Charter House, the 2020 edition of the night of music and recognition would take a whole weekend.
The press release stated that the awards part of the show would last for 2 days i.e Friday and Saturday. On Sunday, there would be a mega concert which would aim to honour the frontline workers of COVID-19.
According to the press release, the said concert has been duly dubbed: the VGMA COVID-19 Heroes Concert which would start at 8 pm.

However, the 2020 edition of the music festival would not see the sale of tickets but would be aired live on TV for lovers of music to catch the entire show in the comfort of their homes.
