Discussions on the struggles of the Ghana Movie Industry has been going on for a while. Our taste for foreign goods and poor production, to many, has led to the struggles of the industry.

There have been a lot of calls on the Government to help revive the industry.

As if the industry is not suffering enough. The global pandemic has affected many companies and organizations negatively. The movie industry, unfortunately, has not been spared.

With all the safety protocols measures put in place by WHO and GHS, it will be nearly impossible for those in the movie industry to work. Because the number of people they usually work with.

The issue of social distancing will be very difficult to observe when shooting a movie.

Peter Sedufia, the producer and director of movies such as, Keteke and Aloe Vera on TV3 new day indicated that due to the global pandemic, a lot of scripts will have to be rewritten. Because the old ones involved a lot of people.

Countries like Australia has devised new ways of shooting movies. Mr. Sedufia explained that it will be possible to copy or adapt to such new methods. But they do not have the equipment and it also involves money. Which the industry do not have.
