Scope And Purpose Of The Job
Have the responsibility of the general supervision of internal audit, verifies the financial status and operating procedures of the hotel through a systematic program of audits, interacts with administrative and enforcement agencies, monitors systems and solve problems
Qualifications & Requirements For The Labadi Bleach Hotel Latest Job Posting
- At least 5 years Post Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting Finance, Business Administration or related field
- Minimum of 6 years working experience
- Auditor in a 4 to 5 star hotel
- Professional qualifications an expertise of Chartered Accountant.
- Certification/Licensure Certfed Public Accountant (CPA) certification must be active and in good standing
or must be a practicing Certified internal Auditor (CIA) - Proven business and commercial acumen with above average financial management ability
- knowledge of the hospitality industry essential
- Highiy developed analytical and strategic planning skills and attention to detail
- Ability to lead a department and proactively meet service requirements of management
- Uncompromising integrity and ability to maintain a high level of compliance and corporate good governance
- Knowledge of relevant statutory legislation and law which govern trading entities in Ghana which
include and are relevant but not limited to:- Companies Act
- Income tax Act
- Value added tax Act
- Liquor Act
- Labour Act
Key Areas Of Responsibilities:
- Set the strategy for Internal Audit in alignment with the overall organisational priorities and strategy
Disseminate and share knowledge on best practice to both management and the Board. - Oversee the development and execution of comprehensive audit programme that addresses the
key operational and financial risks facing the hotel - Lead the implementation of action plans related to risk assessment and annual plan
- Oversee the execution of individual audits defined in the audit plan
- Lead discussions with senior management, Board and the
independent external auditor regarding audit plans, activities and findings - Support management in the effective identification and management of key financial and operational
- Coordinate the scope, coverage and execution of the internal and external audit plans with the independent external auditors
- Drive continued control consciousness and commitment to compliance with the hotel’s policie
and applicable law and regulation throughout the organisation
