Wendy Shay, a Afropop and Afrobeats singer, claims that certain musicians in Ghana are awarded despite their lack of merit.
This wild allegation was made during a 360uptime.net-monitored interview with Sammy Flex on Zylofon FM.

According to the singer, the Ghanaian music industry has different groups of artistes, industry artistes and artistes in the industry.
Wendy Shay described herself as an artist in the music industry.
The industry’s artistes, she claims, are the people’s top picks and they are pampered.
As a result, she stated that she didn’t want to waste her fans’ time voting at the recent Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, which she was nominated. The singer went on to say that she knew she wasn’t going to win.
