Peter Okoye of Psquare has remembered his late mother, Mrs. Josephine Okoye who died ten years ago.
According to a publication by Naijagist and Premium Times 10 years ago, Mrs. Josephine Okoye died after an open-heart surgery in Kolkata, India where she was receiving treatments.
Before she died, she was initially admitted to St. Nicholas private hospital in Lagos State. However, after her condition worsened, she was flown to India where she had the open-heart surgery and eventually gave up the ghost.
While showing that he still mourns the death of his dear mother, Peter Okoye took some old pictures of his mother to his twitter handle to show that he misses her.
In his tweet, the Nigerian singer noted that his late mother died on July 12, 2012. He prayed that someday, they will meet in heaven. And when they eventually meet in heaven, he will continue to be his mother’s little boy again.
He also prayed for her gentle soul to continue to rest in peace while assuring her that they still miss her.
