Following the rampant cyberfraud perpetrated by people from West Africa especially Ghana and Nigeria, a white woman has shared valuable tips on how she and other white people can evade these sakawa boys.
The woman noted that those from Nigeria use a particular word when they initiate the scam and it’s this clue that they really have to take note of. According to the elderly woman, she garnered this from experience after some yahoo boys tried to scam her recently.
In her words, when they are chatting with someone they suspect is a fraudster, they can use the Yoruba slang ”Alaye” to give the person the impression that they are chatting with another scammer posing as a white person.
