Blown GH signee, Fantana has stated that Wendy Shay is a local champion. The term local champion in the Ghana entertainment arena means an artiste who has nationwide hit songs but no international appeal.
Fantana, In an interview on Rhytmz live, disclosed that Wendy shay is part of the local champions in Ghana not because she dislikes her but because ”she hasn’t really achieved anything outside of Ghana for the people to say oh my God.

When they are listing big female musicians in Ghana they will mention the likes of Efya, Becca and Wiyaala”.
Some few months ago, Fantana, took to Instagram to query Ghanaian female artists on “queen ship” saying, Ghanaian female artists are poised in being ‘queens’ of the Ghana Music industry rather than building brands for international markets.
The Rich Gyal Anthem hitmaker also said even though she is new in the music game, she has already grown tired of the unseriousness in the music industry.
