Lynx Entertainment signee, Kuami Eugene emerged as winner of the Artiste of the Year Award at the just ended Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
It is the most prestigious award of the whole event and whoever takes home crowns the night.

The event organisers have come under criticisms following how the award was shared to the musicians, particularly with respect to the ‘Artiste of the year’ award.
According to most social media users, Kuami Eugene isn’t worthy of winning the Artiste of the year and they believe he won as a result of his manager being part of the board of the scheme.
However, from no where, a Twitter user has taken to social media, how his supposed vote for AMG rapper Medikal for Artiste of The Year was transferred to Kuami Eugene.
Per the post, the twitter user voted for Medikal but he was shocked when the reply message came and he was congratulated for voting for Kuami Eugene for the Artiste of the Year award.
The twitter user wrote:
” I personally voted for Medikal through sms buh they replied me saying “Congratulations you have successfully voted for Kuami Eugene as artiste of the year”.
