A Chilean student hoped to celebrate his graduation with his parents present but he got disappointed as they failed to show up.
The student of La Concepcion College San Jose del Monte Bulacan, bagged a Bachelor of Science in Criminology degree.
However, a moment that was so priceless which he thought would be witnessed by his mum and dad did not turn out as expected and it left him devastated.
He fought back tears that were building in his eyes as he scanned the Philippine International Convention Center, venue of the ceremony for his people but they were nowhere to be found.
A professor, who has been hosting him while studying at the university, decided to walk with him to the stage to as a way of offering moral support.
Speaking on the incident, the student said; “One of my other professors was standing there on stage waiting for me and gave me a hug. While that moment took some of my sadness away, I still ended up crying in front of everyone.”
