According to Women’s Health, studies have identified nine different types of breasts among women. And it’s quite fascinating.
1. Round Breast
This type of breasts appear to be equally full at both the top and bottom. If you have these assets, you don’t tend to need particularly structured, padded bras to help shape the breasts, nature’s done that for you
2. East West.
East West breasts have their nipples pointing outward. If your actual nipples don’t point in opposite directions, but the breasts still seem to gravitate away from the center of the chest, you can still consider yourself East West.
3. Bell Shape
These are generally heavier bosoms; narrower at the top, then drastically fuller toward the bottom.
4. Teardrop Breast.
These are circular in appearance and look similar to bell-shaped and round breasts. The only difference is that teardrops are rounder and slightly fuller on the bottom than on the top.
5. Close-set Breast
In this type, both breasts have no or very little separation in them. They rest closer to the centre of your chest. Women with close-set boobs have more distance between their shoulders and their breasts.
6. Slender breasts.
This type tend to be slimmer at the top, fuller at the bottom, and longer than they are wide. Extra evidence for having slender boobs is if they’re relatively small in cup size.
7. Asymmetrical breasts.
These are of two different sizes. It’s pretty common for breasts to be uneven by a cup size or less, and more than half of people have some variation between breast size.
8. Conical breasts
These are shaped more like cones, rather than round. This shape is considered to be more common in smaller breasts than larger ones.
9. Archetype.
The archetypal breasts are round and full with a small point at the nipple. They are considered as the “standard” for breast type. It’s said to be the most common shape, so it’s what most bra manufacturers model their designs after.
