Inspector-General of Police James Oppong Boanu has consoled the wife, Kid, and family of the policeman killed by Armed robbers to stop crying because they will surely hunt, arrest and deal with the robbers for them.
He made this consolation and assurance after visiting the family of the Police at Kasoa in the Central Region of Ghana.
Yesterday, the young and vibrant Police Officer, a bullion vehicle driver, and a woman were shot dead in broad daylight robbery. The Ghana Police Service issued a statement from the IGP initiating a swift investigation into the case.
In the company of the Inspector General of Police James Oppong Boanu were the Central Regional Police commander, his subordinates, and some Police officers.
We hope and pray that the IGP live by his words to wipe the tears from the eyes of the widow, child, and family. May the young policeman rest in peace.
