Reggae Dance hall artiste, Shatta Wale has taken to social media to threaten the telecommunication networks in the country.
The threat by Shatta Wale is in respect of his ‘Faith Concert’ which is scheduled for April 4, 2020 to be telecast on YouTube live and on other social media platforms.
Shatta Wale has asked the Telecom networks to reduce their data charges for the majority of Ghanaians to be able to watch the concert.

He has further suggested that if the networks do not reduce their charges, he would advise all his fans to solely use a particular network that has the cheapest offer.
It’s quite easy for Shatta Wale to influence his fans to use a particular network but would the networks be bothered enough to reduce their data charges?
MTN, Vodafone, Airtel-tigo etc you guys for reduce your data charges for Ghanaians to be able to patronize my show on the 4th April. If no be so, I go make all my fans stream plus the one with the cheapest offer p3. I talk my own. Thank you ?? #SMFaithconcert #FaithConcert pic.twitter.com/6O4ClQ0PQk
